BET vient de publier ce qui constitue selon eux les 50 chansons de cette année 2012.  Une liste qui nous conviendrait un peu plus dans la liste de chansons citées ( par rapport aux autres magazines) mais qui reste très difficile à cerner dans l’ordre proposé. J’aimerais vraiment connaitre quels sont les critères qui font qu’on classe ” Starships” devant”  Bad Religion” de Frank Ocean, tout comme j’aimerais savoir ce qui fait que “ Bad Religion” est classé, vu que ce n’est pas un single. Enfin, c’est un peu touffu à mon gout comme liste. Cela dit, ça fait plaisir de voir Nas classé à plusieurs reprises dont une fois dans le top 10, comme il est plaisant de voir Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill et Kanye West présents.

Une chose est cependant certaine, le classement reflète bien l’ambiance actualité dans les radios américaines, à savoir que le R&B est totalement dominé par le Hip Hop, c’est lui qui tient la main. Il y a au maximum 2-3 chansons purement R&B dans ce classement ( Adorn, Trust and Believe, Refill) dans ce classement, puis on a des titres R&B /hip hop comme ” 2 reasons/ put it down” et avec un beaucoup de légèreté  on peut laisser passer”  Climax” de Usher  ou ” Girl In Fire” de Keys mais c’est tout.

J’espère un regain d’intérêt pour le genre l’an prochain.
